Bottega for Bottegas

Bottega translates, essentially, to “creative workshop.” Much like Bottega Veneta has become a creative force in the fashion realm, the brand has set out to carve prominent spaces for other small luxury makers. The brand will completely pledge its platforms to twelve Italian bottegas, giving these bottegas visibility online — through ads and newsletters — and in-person, as BV storefronts in Milan, Rome, and Venice will participate in the movement as well.

The renowned brand has selected artisans from Amalfi and Naples to Venice and Piedmont, so audiences can really get a taste of what all corners of Italy have to offer. Their talents range from clay mastery, to chocolate-making, to cultivating olives to perfection for olive oil, and so much more.

Bottega Veneta has gone as far as removing their logo from their website to show that the spotlight is truly meant to be shared. “We are proud to offer worldwide visibility to these ‘Bottegas’ that are deeply rooted in Italian culture, especially at a time where smaller entities continue to be impacted by the pandemic,” says Bartolomeo Rongone – CEO of Bottega Veneta.

This holiday season, the best gift one can give is that of support. You can join in, by viewing products from the astoundingly talented crafters on Bottega Veneta’s website — and they will be proudly displayed in select stores as well.
