Both have proven themselves trailblazers in their respective careers, undeniable forces who have shaped the sportswear and streetwear streetwear world into what it is today, and what it could be going forward. As a fixture in fashion over decades, pushing preppy design in new and exciting directions, Tommy Hilfiger has accumulated an impressive and inspiring archive that is being brought to the forefront in this collaboration. 

Utilizing the 90s styles from Tommy Jeans, and fusing them with her own edgy, highly conceptual creative ethos, Martine Rose de-and re-constructs TH's Americana aesthetic for a current audience. The 35-piece gender-inclusive capsule features exaggerated structure, shapes and dramatic proportions with Martine Rose's key patterns.

 

“I really enjoyed being able to explore American subculture and create a campaign that not only celebrates, but rightly spotlights marginalized communities,” says Martine Rose. “TOMMY HILFIGER has always been a brand that I’ve drawn inspiration from, so this partnership was such a natural and organic marriage.”

Of working with Martine Rose, Hilfiger says, “Collaborating with Martine has been inspiring and really pushed me creatively. I love it when a designer can come in and put their own touch on our archival pieces. The collection is elevated and unique, and really highlights how out-of-the-box and experimental Martine’s work is.”

 

The collection will be available starting on November 7, 2022, at select Tommy Jeans stores and tommy.com.
